WOM – World of Mind invites you to experience a playful and mind-bending adventure in the heart of Tour & Taxis in Brussels. Here, it’s not your legs that do the most work, but your senses and your brain. Across 1,500 m², a permanent route immerses visitors in a world of illusions, visual tricks and perception games, where nothing is quite what it seems.

From the very beginning, the tone is set: you laugh, you are surprised, and you start to question what you see. Certainties wobble, perspectives shift, and one question quickly returns again and again: But how does this work? WOM is not a museum you simply look at — it is a place to experience, explore and share.

An illusion journey where you become the main character

At WOM, staying a passive spectator is impossible. The experiences are 100% interactive: every illusion invites you to participate, step inside the installation, move around and observe things differently. Mirror games, size illusions, motion and perspective tricks — your brain receives contradictory signals and tries to make sense of them.

You move from surprise to surprise, often laughing, sometimes completely puzzled. Some visitors stand still in front of an illusion, unable to believe what they see, while others step back to check it again. It’s also common to see children explaining to their parents what they think is happening — proof that the experience sparks both curiosity and conversation.

Laugh, play and learn without realizing it

What makes WOM so engaging is its ability to combine fun and understanding. Visitors enjoy themselves from beginning to end, but behind the laughter lie real mechanisms related to perception, the way the brain works and how our senses interpret the world.
