As soon as you step through the doors of Autoworld, time seems to slow down. Set within the majestic surroundings of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, in the heart of Brussels’ European Quarter, this iconic venue takes you on a journey through more than 130 years of automotive history, blending mechanical elegance, innovation and shared emotions.
An exceptional collection spanning the ages
Autoworld brings together an impressive collection of more than 250 vehicles, perfectly restored and carefully displayed. From timeless classics to modern icons, each model tells the story of an era, a technical breakthrough, a vision of design. Visitors naturally move from a pre-war car with refined lines to more recent models, without ever losing sight of the great human and industrial adventure that defines the automobile.
Some cars have taken part in historic rallies or competitions and still proudly bear the marks of time, preserved as precious witnesses of their past. Others captivate through their symbolic and royal dimension, such as the Minerva Type 00 once owned by King Albert I, or the Cadillac Series 62 State Limousine used during the weddings of King Baudouin and Prince Albert. Vehicles steeped in history, intriguing both young and old and sparking the imagination of those who wonder about the personalities they once transported.
A majestic setting devoted to emotion
The historic Cinquantenaire building fully contributes to the experience. Beneath the vast glass roofs, light glides over the bodywork, highlighting the chrome and revealing every detail. The atmosphere is instantly recognisable: a subtle scent of metal, leather and mechanical history accompanies the visit, creating an almost sensory immersion.
The route naturally leads to highlights such as the boulevard of legendary cars, impressive in scale, or the area dedicated to historic competitions, where one can almost feel the tension of the starting line and the thrill of speed.

Après la fin de la Guerre froide et sous l’influence de MTV, un vent de liberté et d’optimisme souffle sur toute une génération. Cet été, Autoworld rend hommage à cette décennie emblématique à travers une sélection de véhicules et d’objets qui capturent toute l’essence des nineties.
Découvrez des supercars comme la Lamborghini Diablo, des sportives comme la Lotus Elise, des hot hatches comme la Peugeot 205 GTI, mais aussi des modèles atypiques comme la Fiat Multipla. Revivez également le renouveau des marques européennes de motos, avec Ducati, BMW et Triumph en tête.
Plongez dans une scénographie immersive qui réunit le meilleur des années 90 sous un même toit.

Du 11 septembre au 13 décembre, Autoworld réunit à nouveau au musée la crème de la crème de plus de 100 expositions temporaires. Il s’agit de voitures et de motos qui ont été présentées ces dernières années dans l’une des nombreuses expositions d’Autoworld et qui ont chacune un lien particulier avec l’histoire du musée.
‘Autoworld 40 Years – Looking back to the future’ ne sera pas une rétrospective classique, mais un regard éclectique et surprenant sur 40 ans d’Autoworld. Les visiteurs y découvriront des véhicules allant de l’avant-guerre aux supercars modernes, avec notamment la Bugatti Type 35, la Lamborghini Miura, la rare Muntz Jet, l’unique Toyota 2000GT Targa de James Bond, la Citroën DS « volante » et la Porsche 918.
Cette dernière sera présente à la demande du public. En juillet, Autoworld a demandé aux visiteurs quelles voitures ils aimeraient revoir au musée. Les réponses ont été enthousiastes et particulièrement variées, mais une chose est apparue une fois de plus très clairement : les supercars restent extrêmement populaires. La Porsche 918 s’est nettement distinguée comme la voiture la plus demandée. Nous sommes donc heureux de pouvoir annoncer sa présence.
Pour chaque véhicule, un lien sera fait avec l’exposition dans laquelle il a été présenté. L’exposition comprendra également un mur récapitulatif reprenant toutes les expositions organisées par Autoworld au fil des années. Une courte vidéo résumera 40 ans d’Autoworld à travers des images, des moments et des souvenirs de l’histoire du musée.
