The Frais’tival, organised during the open day on the first Sunday of August, transforms the site into a festive gathering with numerous activities. During Halloween, the museum adopts a completely different mood: decorated and immersed in darkness, it welcomes mischievous creatures for an unusual and memorable visit. These events strengthen the emotional bond between the site and its visitors.

Touching and universal stories

The Strawberry Museum is also a place filled with moving stories. One example is a couple from the United States who travelled from Brussels in the middle of winter, in the rain, solely to visit the museum. Afraid it might be closed because of a stubborn door, they were overwhelmed with emotion when they finally entered, the visit lighting up the eyes of a true strawberry enthusiast.

Another story tells of a German family who came to donate an impressive collection of strawberry-themed objects, inherited from a sister who had been an avid collector, filling every corner of her home with items celebrating the fruit.
