Chlorophylle Park, a promise of a living forest to explore as a family

The Chlorophylle Park offers a joyful and educational immersion in the heart of the Ardennes forest, between Dochamps and La Roche-en-Ardenne. Here, nature becomes a playground for discovery and wonder. Along a vast forest trail, children and adults move at their own pace, guided by curiosity, the desire to learn and the simple pleasure of playing outdoors.

From the very first steps, the setting sets the tone: fragrant undergrowth, soft light filtering through the leaves and birdsong in the background. Visitors enter a world where the air feels fresher, where time slows down and where the forest reveals its stories in a new way.

A playful walk along forest paths

The trail, about 2.5 km long, is punctuated by 33 wooden attractions designed to capture attention and stimulate the imagination. Interactive games, cabins, giant animal sculptures and educational installations each stage invites visitors to understand the forest while having fun.

Children run, climb, experiment and observe. Adults follow, participate, explain and rediscover. The approach is natural, never academic, allowing everyone to learn without even noticing, simply by exploring.

Walking among the trees, seeing the forest differently

The highlight of the visit is the 200-metre walkway in the treetops. Suspended above the ground, it offers a completely different perspective of the forest, at canopy level. Steps become slower, eyes lift upward and the plant world reveals itself from an unusual viewpoint.

This crossing leaves a strong impression, both for the sensation of height and the peacefulness of the environment. A suspended moment where visitors listen to the wind in the leaves and realise the richness of this living ecosystem.

Play areas to burn off energy in the heart of nature

Throughout the trail, several playground areas allow children to move and play freely. Here, there are no standard playground structures: wood, forest and imagination are at the centre of the experience. Children climb, jump and invent stories, while parents enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the site.

The park is designed for families, but also for school groups, with a genuine desire to share respect for nature in a playful and practical way.

At Chlorophylle Park, the visit is also sensory. Opening times

From February 14 to November 15: Wednesday to Sunday (10.00-16.00, or 10.00-17.00 at weekends). Open on Mondays and Tuesdays that are public holidays, and also during Belgian and Dutch school holidays (10.00 to 17.00). Open from 9.30 to 18.00 from July 4 to August 23.
