With Dinant Évasion – Lesse Kayaks, the descent of the Lesse becomes a true moment of nature and freedom. Here, there is no performance pressure and no stopwatch: visitors embark on a nautical and forest journey through a protected valley classified as Natura 2000 for the richness of its fauna and flora. From the first paddle strokes, the rhythm slows down, the green riverbanks draw closer, and you simply let the water carry you along.

An accessible and friendly descent, from a young age

The Lesse is an ideal river for beginners or for anyone wishing to enjoy a shared moment outdoors. The routes are accessible from the age of 5, making it a particularly popular activity for families. Kayaking becomes a playful exercise in balance and coordination, but above all a moment of relaxation, punctuated by laughter, splashes and spontaneous breaks.

The kayaks available, classic or Super Comfort, allow everyone to choose their preferred level of comfort in order to fully enjoy the experience in complete peace of mind.

Three routes, three ways to experience the Lesse

Three routes to choose from allow visitors to adapt the outing to their mood of the day.
The 9 km route, lasting around 2 hours, is perfect for a first experience or a gentle outing focused on discovering the landscape.
The 12 km route, lasting about 2h30, offers an ideal balance between relaxation and sensations.
Finally, the 21 km route, lasting around 5 hours, is designed for those who want a longer immersion, for a full day rich in memories.

Each itinerary crosses remarkable natural areas where the calm of the forest alternates with more lively sections of the river.

The dams, an unforgettable thrill

A distinctive feature of the Lesse is the crossing of two dams on the 12 km and 21 km routes. These moments are often among the most memorable. You hold your breath, adjust your trajectory, focus and then burst out laughing once the passage is completed. Small moments of excitement, never aggressive, that add a touch of adventure to this otherwise peaceful descent.

With more than 40 years of experience, Dinant Évasion offers a smooth and reassuring organisation. The quality facilities – showers, changing rooms and free parking – make the day easy and comfortable, allowing visitors to focus solely on the pleasure of the descent. Everything is designed so that the outing becomes a memorable experience, from departure to the return to dry land.

Extending the experience after the descent

For groups or those wishing to extend the day, the experience can continue with a convivial moment at the Cool Corner, the Dinant Évasion brasserie located in Anseremme, right next to the kayak arrival point. An ideal way to share impressions over a meal, still filled with images of the river.
