Forestia, a nature immersion between wildlife encounters and treetop adventure

At Forestia, nature is not just a backdrop: it is the heart of the experience. From the moment you arrive, you feel that return to calm, that sense of breathing differently, surrounded by woodland, natural colours and forest scents. The park has the rare distinction of offering, in a single place, several complementary worlds: a wildlife park, an adventure park, relaxation areas and even the possibility of extending the experience deep in the forest. Meet the animals of our regions, close to the forest

The wildlife park at Forestia is home to nearly 300 animals native to our climates, representing around thirty species. The visit takes place in a natural environment that encourages observation while respecting the animals’ rhythm. You may encounter bears, wolves, sika deer and many other inhabitants of the forest, in a peaceful and refreshing setting.

Some encounters are particularly memorable. Visitors smile when they see the bears climbing trees with surprising agility. The sika deer, meanwhile, sometimes emit small, almost childlike calls when asking for food. As for the wolves, they occasionally race along the fences, almost as if playing with the walkers. These lively scenes make the visit truly memorable.

Adventure in the trees, for young and old

Forestia also offers a spectacular adventure park, with 12 treetop courses and more than 120 obstacles. Suspension bridges, nets and aerial passages allow everyone to progress at their own pace, depending on their level and wishes. The continuous lifelines on all children’s courses reassure families and allow younger visitors to take part with confidence.

For thrill seekers, the two giant zip lines, one stretching 120 metres, provide moments of pure adrenaline. The Puma course, known as one of the most challenging in Belgium, attracts those who enjoy pushing their limits. The excitement is real, yet always within a playful and safe environment.

A place to experience, savour and extend

Forestia goes beyond a simple visit. The playground, the small escape game, the shop and especially the Forest’bar complete the experience. This family restaurant, offering true table service and fresh seasonal products, invites visitors to enjoy a friendly break. There is no takeaway here: you sit down, share and savour the moment.

For those who wish to extend the immersion even further, the Wood Hôtel & Lodges allows guests to spend the night on site. Sleeping in the heart of the forest and enjoying the park when it is closed to other visitors is often described as a unique, rare and deeply restorative experience.

• Animal Park: all year round from 9.30 (10.00 in low season). Closing times vary from 16.30 to 19.00 according to season. Mid-November to mid-March: closed Mondays and Tuesdays except during Belgian school holidays • Adventure Trail: mid-March to mid-November: weekends and public holidays (every day during Belgian school holidays).
