The Maison du Cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège in Sougné-Remouchamps - Aywaille, just a stone's throw from the legendary Côte de la Redoute, is the place to be for cycling fans and those curious to find out more about this popular sport. Inaugurated in April 2024, it takes visitors on a fun and attractive journey through the world of competitive cycling, with a focus on the ‘Doyenne des Classiques’, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the great races and the great champions.

A modern, interactive display showcases rare items from the history of cycling, major races and champions. Various collectors, including Aywaille-born world champion Philippe Gilbert, are exhibiting old and modern bikes, emblematic jerseys, trophies and other medals.

The experience is enhanced by new technologies: a virtual reality helmet takes you on a bike ride with Philippe Gilbert, a bike simulator takes you up the côte de la Redoute and QR codes complete your visit with a range of information.

In addition to permanent exhibitions, the space also hosts temporary exhibitions, depending on current events and special occasions, thanks to high-quality modular furniture.

In addition to the exhibition, the Maison du Cyclisme is also perfectly suited to a variety of events such as conferences, meetings or group activities. It offers tours tailored to groups of between 10 and 40 people, guaranteeing a personalised and enriching experience.

Accessible to all, this venue combines heritage, sport and innovation, offering visitors a memorable experience. Perfectly integrated into the tourist environment of the Ourthe-Vesdre-Amblève region and located right next to the Remouchamps caves, the Maison du Cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège is much more than a museum: it's a celebration of the passion and exploits of cycling.
