From 31 March to 30 September 2012 you can discover and experience the past in the Open Air Museum Bokrijk! You can meet Bokrijk actors, become acquainted with long-forgotten crafts and find out how people used to live and work in the countryside. Bokrijk is the best destination to go back in time. Bokrijk also organises extra activities during special events.

But there is more! The Open Air Museum Bokrijk will expand in 2012 and you can become completely immersed in the atmosphere of 'the sixties'. Lifelike settings and personal testimonies bring the spirit of this turbulent decade to life.

Children can still relive the exciting Ketnet series 'De 5e boog' in Bokrijk. They can also romp around to their heart’s content for free in the enormous open air playground. Or walk in nature: the green arboretum and the domain’s vast forests are accessible throughout the year for free.
