The garden in Hasselt is the largest Japanese garden in Europe. It reflects the Japanese landscape and is set out on the lines of the 17th century tea garden. To walk in a Japanese garden is to open yourself up to another culture, being steeped in an atmospherical environment, involving all your senses.
