The Pass is a place like no other. In the 10 exhibitions, you can play, learn, touch and dream. And, above all, have fun. Discover how the world moves, how science and technology influence our daily lives. Get a good healthy dose of nature in the 28 hectares of garden. Go for a walk on the slag heap or take your children to the playground.
The Pass is set in a former colliery, now listed. Renovated by the architect Jean Nouvel, the exceptional architecture is of itself worth the detour.

At the Pass you will find 10 different exhibitions on a large variety of subjects: materials, genetics, health, food, money, the Antarctic, water ...Don't miss the film in the Picture Palace, "H20!", a forceful and moving show in a unique projection room with many screens !

The Pass also has events and entertainments throughout the year:
