From inside the cable-car you can admire the magnificent view over Dinant. Looking down from where the guards used to stand, up on the ramparts, you can see the Meuse flowing towards a distant horizon. Inside the walls of the fortress, the Museum of Arms, dioramas, its collapsed shelter... moments of long forgotten days of Belgium and Europe come back to life. Besides the visitors circuit, there is also a restaurant with reasonable prices (special group rates) at the foot of the cable-car. At the top there is a cafeteria-chip stall and a beautiful terrace "between cannons and casemates".
