The St Hermes crypt is unique in Belgium and should not be missed under any circumstances. The crypt is noteworthy from both an aesthetic and archaeological point of view. The crypt was consecrated in 1089 as a storage place for the remains of St Hermes. During the Middle Ages, the crypt was a major place of pilgrimage for the insane.

At the Must museum you can marvel at the extensive collection of working looms and learn about the development of the textile industry.
