You find the Broelmuseum situated next to the river Lys and the Broel towers in a beautiful mansion from the early 18th century. The museum presents a plastic and applied art collection from artists who lived or worked in Courtrai, from the 16th to the 19th century: Roeland Savery, Karel van Mander, Kerstiaen De Keuninck… Visitors will be charmed by the excellent works of the famous animal-painters!
Next to the presentation of the historical collection the Broelmuseum organises temporary exhibitions with actual plastic art and design.
