The House of Glass (literally a house made of glass) is a unique project for Lommel and Flanders.
In this Flemish Centre for Contemporary Glass Art, GLASS is represented in a myriad of different forms with detailed explanations. The House of Glass plays a combination of different roles. It acts as an exhibition space and shows glass items from different collections. Another of its many roles is to show works by contemporary (glass) artists .
Visitors can also discover how glass blowers transform raw materials into a ball of glass and then into wonderful works of art. See them at work in their workshop and admire their handiwork. You will find the results of their craftsmanship in the exhibition area and the glass shop.
